Silverchair

Yeah, those Aussies. They put out this album with the help of a full orchestra backing them. This is an easy way into my ear, as I eat up good orchestration in genres of music other than classical.
This track, "Tuna in the Brine" (link), does not have the best lyrics. However, it sounds wonderfully full. The orchestra is a bit distant at times in the mastering on this album, but it really steps up here. Listen carefully for all the little touches the orchestra adds in, as well as the reinforcements. The track drops out with about two and a half minutes to go and goes on a build that is somehow understated, yet soaring. That build makes me want to give every moody band a skilled orchestrator. Hell, look what it did for Vanessa Carlton album.
If you're down for this track, you should also check out "Love You Life" on the album, which is just as magnificent. The rest of the album doesn't really catch, but these tracks keep me coming back for more, singing with my arms out like I'm in Creed.
